Tripoli – March 26, 2026 – (LANA) – The Minister of Transportation in the Government of National Unity and Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mohamed Salem Al-Shahoubi, met today, Thursday, with the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy, ​​Jeremy Berndt, to discuss the unified development program aimed at enhancing financial stability and consolidating public spending, as well as improving resource management efficiency. This, in turn, is expected to positively impact the improvement of basic services and accelerate development across various regions.

According to the Ministry of Transportation, the meeting also addressed supporting technical cooperation and the exchange of expertise with American institutions and companies, including Boeing, to contribute to the development of the transportation sector in accordance with the state's plans.

Both sides emphasized the necessity of continued coordination and consultation to support the government's efforts in unifying institutions and strengthening economic stability.
