Al-Baour reviews preparations for the reopening of the (CEN-SAD) headquarters in Tripoli

Tripoli – March 26, 2026 – (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, reviewed today, Thursday, via video conference, with the heads of Libyan missions in the member states of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), the preparations underway for the reopening of the CEN-SAD headquarters in Tripoli, following the completion of maintenance work.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity stated that during the meeting, coordination took place with the heads of Libyan missions in the member states of the Community to extend invitations to the foreign ministers of the countries accredited to them to participate in the opening ceremony.
