The Red Crescent Society in Tobruk announces the rescue of (32) migrants of different nationalities

Tripoli, March 25, 2026 (LANA) – The Libyan Red Crescent Society in Tobruk announced on Wednesday the rescue of a boat carrying 32 irregular migrants of various nationalities, following an operation conducted by the Coast Guard off the city's coast.
In a brief post on its official page, the Society stated that emergency teams were immediately dispatched to the disembarkation point at the Tobruk Naval Base upon receiving the report, where the migrants were received immediately upon arrival.
It added that the teams began providing first aid and necessary humanitarian assistance, with support from the UNHCR.
