Tripoli, March 22, 2026 (LANA) – The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Libya, Ma Xueliang, congratulated the Libyan people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In a post on his official page, Ma Xueliang stated that the approximately 30 million Muslims in China share the joy and happiness of the Libyan people on this occasion.
The Chinese Ambassador affirmed his country's commitment to protecting the freedom of religious belief for its citizens and guaranteeing all their legitimate rights and interests. He noted that the people of China, from various ethnic groups and religions, including Muslims, coexist in harmony and peace.
Ma Xueliang reiterated the People's Republic of China's readiness to enhance practical cooperation with Libya in all fields, for the genuine benefit of both nations and to contribute to the development of the existing strategic partnership between them.
The Chinese Ambassador expressed his hope for the restoration of security and stability in Libya as soon as possible, wishing Libya and its people continued prosperity and well-being.
