Electricity Company Continues Emergency Repairs

Tripoli, March 22, 2026 (LANA) – The General Electricity Company announced today, Sunday, that it is continuing its efforts to repair emergency outages to ensure network stability in several areas. Technical teams from the General Installations and Ain Zara departments, under the Friday Market Distribution Administration, worked on repairing a damaged cable by making two connections on Al-Shouk Road near Al-Anwar Mosque. This followed inspection and testing to restore electricity to residents and ensure the continuity and quality of service.

In addition, the company is continuing the installation of electrical transformers of varying sizes in several areas, having distributed them from its warehouses according to the needs of each region, to ensure a stable electricity supply. Today, Saturday, the second day of Eid al-Fitr, technical teams from the Hawisa Distribution Department, under the Western Distribution Administration, installed three 200 kVA transformers, as part of the company's procedures to ensure a stable and continuous electricity supply for all citizens.
