Arabian Gulf Oil Company: Fire contained in one of the pipelines in the Hamada region

Benghazi, March 19, 2026 (LANA) – The Arabian Gulf Oil Company announced today, Thursday, that the fire that broke out in one of the pipelines belonging to Akakus Oil Operations in the Hamada region has been contained.

The company explained that its safety teams participated in containing the fire, along with specialized teams from other oil sector companies, who responded to the blaze and successfully brought it under control.

The company's media office indicated that controlling the fire took approximately 24 hours of continuous efforts by the technical teams from the oil companies, confirming that the pipeline is now completely under control.

The Arabian Gulf Oil Company commended the efforts of the safety teams from the various oil companies that contributed to containing the fire, demonstrating a high level of efficiency, professionalism, and discipline.
