Benghazi, March 16, 2026 (LANA) – The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Engineer Masoud Suleiman, conducted a field visit to the Sharara oil field, operated by Akakus Oil Operations, and the El Feel oil field, operated by Mellitah Oil & Gas, to review production operations and daily work procedures.

During the visit, Engineer Masoud met with employees at both fields and inquired about their working conditions and the challenges they face in maintaining production levels and ensuring continuity.

The Chairman commended the efforts of the field employees, praising their patience and perseverance in the face of difficult working conditions, especially given the current exceptional circumstances and during this holy month of Ramadan. He emphasized the importance of their role in maintaining production.
