French company Total announces resumption of production from the Mabrouk field

Paris, March 13, 2026 (LANA) – French energy company Total Energies announced the resumption of production at Libya's Mabrouk oil field, with a production capacity of approximately 25,000 barrels per day, after a halt since 2015, according to Bloomberg News.
The Mabrouk oil field is located in the C17 concession in the western part of the Sirte Basin, 130 kilometers south of Sirte and about 30 kilometers west of the Al-Bahi production facilities belonging to Waha Oil Company, according to the Mabrouk website.
Total Energies SE is a French multinational energy and petroleum company, founded in 1924, and is one of the world's seven largest oil companies.
