Al-Ghouj officially assumes his duties and follows up on the Ministry's plan to develop the health sector

Tripoli – March 12, 2026 (LANA) – Minister of Health, Mohamed Al-Ghouj, officially assumed his duties today, Thursday, after serving as Undersecretary of the Ministry, as part of the recent cabinet reshuffle by the Government of National Unity.

The “Our Government” platform reported that Al-Ghouj held an extensive meeting with directors of departments and affiliated bodies within the Ministry following his appointment. He reviewed the Ministry's plan to develop the health sector, enhance the quality of medical services, ensure the availability of medicines and supplies, and improve the efficiency of hospitals and health centers.

In his address, Al-Ghouj emphasized the importance of teamwork, adherence to implementation plans, and regular monitoring of progress. He affirmed that the Ministry's efforts will focus on improving healthcare for citizens and raising the level of administrative and technical performance within health institutions.
