Baour meets French ambassador

Tripoli, March 10, 2026 (LANA) - The person in charge of managing the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, “Al-Taher Al-Baour,” met today, Tuesday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of France accredited to Libya, “Thierry Falla,” to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them.
The meeting discussed the political situation and the current efforts made by the National Unity Government to enhance aspects of security, development and stability in preparation for holding parliamentary and presidential elections.
The French ambassador praised the great achievement of the Misrata Free Zone and the work carried out in this region.
The two sides expressed their aspiration and keenness to strengthen the bonds of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries and peoples.
