LIA Chairman meets with British Ambassador

Tripoli, March 8, 2026 (LANA) – The Chairman of the Libyan Investment Authority, Ali Mahmoud Hassan, discussed the Authority's investments in the United Kingdom with the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds.

During the meeting, held in Tripoli, they also discussed matters related to the Authority's investments in oil projects with British involvement.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continued bilateral coordination regarding the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2769 (2025) and explored mechanisms to support its application in a way that enhances the protection of Libyan assets and preserves their market value, in full compliance with relevant Security Council resolutions.
