Tripoli, March 4, 2026 (LANA) – The Libyan News Agency urges all its valued followers to be wary of a fake page on the social media platform Facebook that impersonates the name and visual identity of the Libyan News Agency newspaper, one of the media outlets affiliated with the Libyan News Agency Foundation.

The Board of Directors of the Libyan News Agency Foundation affirms that it will take all legal measures to prosecute those impersonating its name and visual identity and those responsible for the fake page, which aims to defame and damage the reputation of the official Libyan News Agency newspaper and its editorial policy based on national principles that have always been and will remain the backbone of the Libyan News Agency's editorial line since its inception sixty years ago.
