Tripoli, February 24, 2026 (LANA) – The Minister of Planning in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Al-Zaidani, chaired a meeting this afternoon with the management and implementation body of the Amsaad-Ras Ajdir road project. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Sustainable Development Affairs and directors of relevant departments within the Ministry.

The meeting, held at the Ministry headquarters in Tripoli, focused on discussing the body's work plan and the mechanism for activating the Amsaad-Ras Ajdir road project. This initiative is part of the Ministry's efforts to monitor strategic projects and address any obstacles hindering their progress.

Attendees emphasized the importance of the project, considering it a vital undertaking that will enhance the efficiency of the transportation sector and strengthen connectivity between eastern and western regions. This, in turn, will positively impact trade and movement, and support sustainable development efforts across the country.
