Tripoli, February 24, 2026 (LANA) – The Chairman of the Management Committee of the Great Man-Made River Project's Phase One Water Investment Authority in the Central Region conducted a field visit this afternoon to the center-pivot irrigation systems of the Authority's large-scale farms project. This visit was part of the implementation of the agreement signed with the National Development Authority.

According to the Authority's official page, the visit aimed to assess the progress of agricultural operations and monitor the level of implementation on the ground, thereby contributing to enhancing performance efficiency and achieving the approved targets.

The Chairman of the Management Committee was received by the Director of the Agricultural Production and Investment Department and a number of engineers and technicians. He was briefed on the work mechanisms and procedures followed to ensure the smooth operation of agricultural processes according to the established plans.
