Benghazi, February 17, 2026 (LANA) – The General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces congratulated the Libyan people on the fifteenth anniversary of the February 17 Revolution, according to a statement issued by the Command on Tuesday.

The General Command expressed its warmest congratulations to the Libyan people on this national occasion, emphasizing that the Armed Forces share this national celebration with all citizens.

It reiterated its commitment to confronting any threats to the country's security, stressing its continued dedication to its sacred duty of protecting the homeland, preserving its sovereignty, and countering anything that could undermine Libya's security and stability.

The statement reaffirmed the Armed Forces' pledge to the Libyan people that they will remain a fundamental pillar in building the state and its institutions, and in maintaining security and stability, which are the true guarantees for the path of construction and development.
