Tripoli, February 17, 2026 (LANA) – Presidential Council member Musa Al-Koni described the February 17 Revolution as a glorious revolution, despite its fragmentation.

This came in a tweet he posted on his X-platform account on the 15th anniversary of the February Revolution.

Referring to the decrees and decisions issued yesterday by Presidential Council head Mohammed Al-Menfi, Al-Koni said in his tweet: “There is no recourse now to anything other than the political agreement, as the authority in Libya rests with the Presidential Council in its entirety. Its decisions and decrees require the consensus of its members and a signed record from them. Any individual decision or decree is invalid and lacks any presidential legitimacy.”
