Tripoli, February 17, 2026 (LANA) – Presidential Council Head Mohammed Al-Menfi stated that the February 17 Revolution is a memory worthy of commemoration, honoring the sacrifices made for principles that demand practical implementation.

In a tweet on his X-platform account, marking the 15th anniversary of the February Revolution, he added that true revolutions do not target individuals but rather unjust behaviors, practices, and legislation that must be changed. Today, our duty is to confront the "syndromes of falsehood": corruption, the abuse of power through force, and the violation of rights. Let us all rally around a comprehensive national project to translate these sacrifices into tangible achievements, not merely to transform its memory into symbolic rituals.
