Al-Baour discusses with the Senegalese Foreign Minister the activation of the joint Libyan-Senegalese committee

Addis Ababa – February 12, 2026 (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met today with Cheikh Niang, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Senegal, to discuss bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to develop and enhance cooperation in various fields.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity stated that the two sides agreed during the meeting on the importance of activating the joint Libyan-Senegalese committee. They also discussed regional and international issues of common interest.
