The National Oil Corporation reveals production and revenue data for January 2026

Tripoli, February 10, 2026 (LANA) – The National Oil Corporation (NOC) released production and revenue figures for January, reporting crude oil production of approximately 42,709,334 barrels. This was distributed as follows: 31,505,245 barrels for the Libyan state, 7,618,199 barrels for partners, 7,072,548 barrels for refining, 27,261,287 barrels available for export, and 3,633,984 barrels allocated to power plants in Ubari and Mellitah.
Based on the average price of a barrel of Brent crude oil during January, which reached $66.796, oil revenues collected amounted to $1,034,319,956.72 and €1,255,640.31. These funds were transferred to the sovereign account, along with royalties and taxes on concession contracts, thus bolstering the state's general revenues. Additionally, there were in-kind guarantees for fuel supplies valued at $676,537,595.47, and $33,722,960.41 representing the value of crude oil transferred to power plants.
Regarding the budget received for the first chapter (salaries) in January 2026, it amounted to 327,792,250 Libyan dinars, while no funds were disbursed for other budget items during the same month.
The corporation indicated that these data reflect the transparency of the Libyan oil sector's financial and production performance, and its role in supporting the national economy and ensuring resource sustainability.
