Kufra, February 8, 2026 (LANA) – The Kufra branch of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency deported 140 illegal immigrants of Chadian nationality to their country on Sunday.

The agency stated through its media office that among them were individuals with security restrictions, in addition to cases confirmed to be infected with contagious diseases. It confirmed that the deportation process took place after the completion of all legal procedures and approved health examinations in coordination with the relevant authorities.

It indicated that this step comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to enhance public security and maintain public health, as part of a plan aimed at reducing the flow of illegal immigration and addressing its security and humanitarian consequences.
