Dabaiba approves an exceptional Ramadan grant of 1000 dinars for retirees whose pensions do not exceed 1500 dinars

Tripoli, February 8, 2026 (LANA) – The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dabaiba, issued Decree No. (49) of 2026 regarding the disbursement of an exceptional Ramadan grant of 1,000 dinars to retirees whose pensions do not exceed 1,500 dinars.
According to Article Two of the decree, the specified financial grant will be disbursed from the surplus of monthly social security contributions held by the Social Security Fund. The Ministry of Social Affairs is tasked with monitoring the implementation of the decree and preparing a comprehensive report on the number of beneficiaries and the amounts disbursed.
Article Three of the decree calls upon the relevant authorities to implement it from the date of its issuance.
