Members of the economic, national reconciliation, and human rights tracks in the structured dialogue resume their meetings.

Tripoli, February 8, 2026 (LANA) – The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) announced that members of the Economic and National Reconciliation and Human Rights tracks of the structured dialogue resumed their meetings today, Sunday, in Tripoli.

The Mission explained that the second round of in-person sessions will continue over the next four days, during which participants will address a range of issues within the aforementioned tracks.

The Mission stated that it is coordinating and dedicating its efforts to facilitating an inclusive, Libyan-led and Libyan-owned political process, with the aim of fostering consensus on creating an enabling environment for national elections, unifying and strengthening state institutions, and achieving long-term stability in Libya.
