Al-Menfi meets with a delegation of elders and wise men of Ajilat municipality

Tripoli – February 5, 2026 – (LANA) – The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, received the Mayor of Ajilat, Abdulhamid Al-Shabouki, and a delegation of elders and wise men from the municipality at the Council's headquarters on Thursday.

According to the Presidential Council's media office, the meeting addressed several issues related to the Ajilat municipality and its pivotal role in supporting the national reconciliation process led by the Council's head. They also discussed a number of service-related matters and ways to enhance the city's rights and meet its needs, thereby improving the level of services provided to citizens.

The office noted that at the end of the meeting, the delegation presented the President of the Council with a commemorative plaque on behalf of the Ajilat municipality.
