Al-Menfi meets with a delegation from the city of Kikla

Tripoli – February 5, 2026 – (LANA) – The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, received a delegation from the city of Kikla at the Council's headquarters on Thursday. The delegation included Member of Parliament Dr. Akram Issa, Member of the High Council of State Dr. Abdulaziz Hariba, and Mayor of Kikla Eng. Mohammed Al-Sanousi, along with a number of sheikhs and dignitaries from the city.

The Presidential Council's media office stated that the delegation expressed its support for the Council Head's efforts in the national reconciliation and transitional justice process, and his endeavors to unify the national ranks and strengthen stability leading to the holding of elections.

The office explained that the meeting addressed the general situation in the city of Kikla and ways to support it. It noted that at the end of the visit, the delegation presented a commemorative plaque to the Head of the Presidential Council in appreciation of his role and leadership during this pivotal stage in the country's history.
