Tripoli, February 2, 2026 (LANA) – The Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries in the Government of National Unity, Nasr al-Din Al-Fazzani, met with the Mayor of Jadu, Asim Buha, to discuss ways to strengthen and develop the tourism sector in Jadu. They emphasized the importance of unifying efforts among relevant stakeholders to advance this vital sector.

During the meeting, held at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, they discussed mechanisms for developing local tourism assets and how to best utilize them. They also stressed the importance of preserving Jadu's rich cultural heritage and historical legacy, which contributes to highlighting its historical and cultural identity and enhancing its appeal as a tourist destination.

Both sides affirmed the need to support development initiatives and projects related to tourism and traditional industries, as well as to create a suitable environment for investment and job opportunities for young people. These steps aim to accelerate sustainable development, achieve balanced local development, and solidify Jadu's position as a leading tourist destination.
