48 illegal Egyptian migrants deported via Mitiga Airport

Tripoli, January 29, 2026 (LANA) – The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency deported 48 Egyptian migrants today, Thursday, via Mitiga International Airport.

In a statement, the agency explained that these migrants had been residing in a detention center east of Tripoli. Some had been referred by the Anti-Illegal Immigration Prosecution Office, while others had security restrictions, necessitating their deportation for violating Libyan laws.
