Tripoli, January 27, 2026 (LANA) – The High Committee for Implementing the Strategic Anti-Corruption Plan at the Audit Bureau held a coordination meeting today with representatives of the international community to enhance integrity and transparency and support institutional reform efforts.
The meeting, held at the Bureau's headquarters in Tripoli and attended by its Chairman, Khaled Shakshak, reviewed the progress made in implementing the National Anti-Corruption Strategy. Discussions focused on key indicators and achievements during the past period, as well as identifying priorities, practical approaches, and proposed work plans for 2026. These initiatives aim to strengthen integrity and transparency and support institutional reform efforts.
During the meeting, which was facilitated by the Dutch Embassy in Libya, the importance of continued coordination and cooperation with international partners was emphasized. The support provided by representatives of the international community to Libya's efforts in combating corruption, promoting good governance principles, and building institutions was commended.
