The Chargé d'Affaires at the Libyan Embassy in Beijing meets with the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Libya

Beijing, January 27, 2026 (LANA) – The Chargé d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in the People's Republic of China, Khaled Al-Sayeh, met today with the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Libya, Ma Xueliang, prior to his departure to Libya to present his credentials.
According to a statement issued by the Libyan Embassy in Beijing, the meeting – which was also attended by the Chargé d'Affaires' Political Advisor, Faiq Zaitoun – discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them in various fields.
The two sides also exchanged views on issues of common interest, emphasizing their shared commitment to developing and strengthening these relations to serve the interests of both friendly nations.
This visit – which comes within the framework of ongoing and fruitful communication between the two sides – reflects the shared desire to continue working to deepen the strategic partnership between Libya and the People's Republic of China in a way that contributes to achieving development and stability.
