Tunis, January 26, 2026 (LANA) – The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Libya, Hanna Tetteh, met today, Monday, in the Tunisian capital, with the UAE Ambassador to Libya, Ali Al Mazrouei.

The UN mission in Libya stated that the Special Representative briefed the UAE Ambassador on the progress of the roadmap implementation and the recently launched structured dialogue.

The envoy emphasized the importance of member states supporting and encouraging the recommendations issued by this dialogue, considering them a fundamental element of the UN Support Mission in Libya's roadmap.

The meeting underscored the importance of international coordination to support the Libyan political process, contributing to stability and advancing the political process in Libya.
