Tripoli, January 26, 2026 (LANA) – The Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Khalifa Abdul-Sadiq, met with a delegation from SLB to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the energy and oil services sectors, as part of efforts to support partnerships with international companies specializing in the oil industry.

The SLB delegation included Jesus Lamas Rios, President of the Middle East and North Africa region, Khaled Al-Saidi, General Manager for North Africa, and Steve Gassen, Executive Vice President for Regions.

According to the Ministry of Oil and Gas's official page, the meeting, held on Monday, addressed prospects for technical and service cooperation, aiming to develop the oil and gas sector and leverage the company's international expertise in the energy field.
