A delegation from Saudi Arabia's Ajial Petroleum Company discusses cooperation and investment in the energy sector with the head of the National Unity Government

Tripoli, January 25, 2026 (LANA) – Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba of the Government of National Unity met today with a delegation from the Saudi company Ajial Petroleum and Energy, headed by its Chairman of the Board, Musleh Al-Dossari, on the sidelines of the company's participation in the fourth edition of the Libya Energy and Economy Summit.
During the meeting, the company delegation affirmed its intention to enter the Libyan market and invest in the energy sector. They outlined the company's areas of operation, which include exploration and production, oilfield services, and the development of energy projects, in addition to providing technical and technological solutions to support the sector's development.
For his part, Dabaiba emphasized that the Libyan market is open to all investors and major international companies, within the framework of an economic policy based on openness and building strategic partnerships. He affirmed the Government of National Unity's commitment to providing an attractive investment environment based on transparency and equal opportunities, which will contribute to the transfer of expertise and modern technologies and the development of the oil and energy sector.
This meeting follows an official government delegation's visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which they met with the Saudi Minister of Energy and held a series of meetings with major Saudi companies, most notably Aramco, to discuss opportunities for cooperation and joint investment in the energy sector.
