Tripoli, 21 January 2026 (Lana) – The United Nations Support Mission in Libya stated that discussions on the security and economic tracks of the Structured Dialogue are continuing simultaneously within the framework of a comprehensive, Libyan-led political process.
According to the mission, the discussions aim to propose practical solutions to the short- and long-term challenges hindering the holding of elections and to build a path toward achieving stability in Libya.
The mission emphasized that the Structured Dialogue aims to produce clear and actionable recommendations and establish mechanisms to support their implementation.
It also seeks to transfer the comprehensive dialogue into tangible results that contribute to holding credible elections and unifying and strengthening institutions, in accordance with the roadmap.
