The Chief of the General Staff discusses the obstacles facing the implementation of the work plan of the Ground Forces Command

Tripoli, January 20, 2026 (LANA) – The expanded meeting held by the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Dr. Salah al-Din Al-Namroush, with the Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces, Lieutenant General Muhammad Musa, was dedicated to discussing the most significant obstacles hindering the implementation of the Ground Forces General Staff's operational plan.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Commander of the Infantry and Armored Corps, the Commander of the Infantry and Armored Corps School, the Commander of the Artillery and Missile Corps, the Commander of the Artillery and Missile School, and the Commander of the Training Branch at the Artillery and Missile School, a proposal to establish a Ground Forces Science Center was discussed. This center would encompass all specialized military schools within the Libyan Army.
During the meeting, the Chief of the General Staff issued directives emphasizing the necessity of continuing training with rigor and professionalism to achieve the highest level of competence for all members of the Libyan Army, according to a statement released by the General Staff through its media office.
