Tripoli, 20 January 2026 (Lana)—The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Suliman, discussed yesterday with the Canadian Ambassador to Libya, Allison Stewart, the situations of the Canadian companies operating in the Libyan oil and gas sector and their participation in future development and investment projects in Libya.

In his official page, Suleiman stated that the meeting highlighted the importance of exchanging technical and developmental expertise and supporting training and capacity building for Libyan nationals in various areas within the oil and gas sector.

He emphasized that the meeting reflects the common commitment of both sides to making Libya an attractive environment for investment and cooperation.
