Tripoli January 18, 2026 (LANA) – The Head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, met today with a delegation from the Turkish Court of Accounts, comprised of experts specializing in information technology, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of implementing the provisions of the agreement signed between the two sides, and on strengthening technical cooperation and the exchange of expertise. This cooperation aims to contribute to developing the digital infrastructure and enhancing the Bureau's institutional performance.
Following the meeting, a meeting was held between the Audit Bureau's IT team and the Turkish experts. This meeting was part of the formation of working groups to begin implementing technical programs, exchanging knowledge, assessing the technical infrastructure, and analyzing technical gaps.
This step comes within the framework of the Libyan Audit Bureau's efforts to promote digital transformation and adopt international best practices in the fields of auditing, using modern technologies, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
