Al-Menfi approves the credentials of 11 ambassadors to Libya.

Tripoli, 18 January 2026 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, approved yesterday the credentials of a number of newly appointed ambassadors to Libya.
The credentials include:
- Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Ali Rashid Al Mazrouei.
- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam, Nguyen Huy Dung.
- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Niger, Amadou Mohamed Othman.
- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka, Abuhameji Sisra Senawaritna.
- Ambassador of Canada, Alison Stewart.
- Ambassador of Greece, Ioannis Papamiletiou.
- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Chad, Tahir Issou Youssouf.
- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India, Mohamed Hafiz Rahman.
- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Singapore Dominic Goh Kian.
- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Guinea Massa Kaba.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Reinaldo José Bolívar.
Al-Menfi welcomed the newly accredited ambassadors, wishing them success in their diplomatic missions and expressing his hope for strengthening cooperation and expanding partnerships to serve common interests and enhance regional and international stability.
For their part, the ambassadors emphasized their countries' commitment to consolidating bilateral relations with Libya and deepening cooperation in various political, economic, and cultural areas to contribute to supporting development efforts and strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations.
