The Ministry of Economy of the Government of National Unity calls on suppliers and exporters of goods and merchandise to and from the Libyan market to register in the (PTS) system.

Tripoli, January 15, 2026 (LANA) – The Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Government of National Unity called on all importers and exporters of goods to and from the Libyan market, as well as shipping and transport companies, to begin the registration process in the unified digital system for trade (PTS) of the Libyan Trade Network.

In a statement issued today, Thursday, the Ministry confirmed that registration in the unified PTS system comes within the framework of enhancing transparency and developing the digital work system for foreign trade operations (import and export), and in implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. (637) of 2024 regarding the issuance of regulations governing transactions of the Libyan Trade Network.

The Ministry stressed in its statement that all companies operating in the aforementioned field must adhere to the registration mechanism specified in the aforementioned digital system, via the portal (https://pts.Itnet.gov.ly) and the link (https://e-trade.Itnet.gov.ly), starting today, January 15.
