Tripoli, January 15, 2025 (LANA) – Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba of the Government of National Unity expressed his delight at the opening of the Salah al-Din Bridge, a vital project aimed at reconstructing this pivotal area in the capital, Tripoli.
In a post on his Facebook page, Dabaiba stated, "The Salah al-Din area is witnessing a genuine transformation today. It is no longer a scene of conflict and destruction, but rather a hub for work, development, and the return of normalcy." He emphasized that the Salah al-Din Bridge, with its complete facilities and service roads, will significantly contribute to easing traffic congestion and improving mobility.
He noted that this step is part of a comprehensive vision that includes the construction of bridges and the Salah al-Din intersection within the framework of the Third Ring Road project, which will connect the south of the city to its north. This is in addition to the strategic Salah al-Din-Qasr Bin Ghashir-Tarhuna road, thus enhancing connectivity between areas and supporting urban development.
The Prime Minister added that the projects are not limited to roads and traffic infrastructure, but extend to the development of integrated infrastructure, the maintenance of Salah al-Din buildings that have suffered from neglect for decades, as well as education and health projects, including the College of Dentistry, and the improvement of various public services under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
Dabaiba affirmed that the government is proceeding with its work steadily and calmly, because what Libyans in all cities and regions deserve is a better reality, higher-quality services, and a more comfortable and stable life.
