Tripoli, January 13, 2026 (LANA) – The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs, Masouda Al-Aswad, met today with the Cultural Attaché at the US Embassy in Libya, Mary Vargas, and her accompanying delegation to discuss joint cooperation between the Ministry and the Embassy during the current year.

The meeting addressed prospects for joint cooperation in 2026 between the Ministry of Education and the US Embassy, ​​particularly regarding enhancing the skills of English language teachers and inspectors, and developing teaching methods and approaches to improve the quality of English language education and learning, ensuring that students receive the best educational services.

The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at the Ministry, Hatem Abu Qrain, and the representative of the Ministry's International Cooperation Office, Musab Abu Hudeima.
