Benghazi, January 12, 2026 (LANA) – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, met today, Monday, with a number of representatives of struggling and withdrawing companies to discuss the difficulties and obstacles facing the employees of these companies.

During the meeting, held at the House of Representatives headquarters in Benghazi, the Speaker emphasized the necessity of implementing Libyan Government Resolution No. (197) of 2025 and taking the necessary administrative and legal measures regarding the reassignment of Libyan employees from withdrawing and struggling foreign companies, as well as dissolved national companies, to work in administrative units within the state's administrative apparatus.

Members of the House of Representatives, Aisha Al-Tablaqi, Aisha Shalabi, and Intisar Shnaib, and representatives of several struggling and withdrawing companies attended the meeting.
