Tripoli, January 12, 2026 (LANA) – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, reassured the Libyan people on Monday that he is well and continuing to perform his duties.

Dabaiba said on his official social media page: “Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. I assure you that I am well after a medical issue that required a successful procedure, thanks to God’s grace and care. I extend my thanks and appreciation to the national and international medical staff at the Misrata Heart Center (MHCC).”

Dabaiba added: “I express my deepest gratitude to the great people of Libya for their outpouring of sincere feelings and heartfelt prayers, which I cherish. I will continue to perform my duties and obligations towards my country and my people with full commitment, asking God Almighty for help and success.”
