Tripoli, January 12, 2026 (LANA) – The House of Representatives convened today, Monday, under the chairmanship of Speaker Aguila Saleh, with the attendance of First and Second Deputy Speakers Fawzi al-Nuwairi and Misbah Douma.
At the beginning of the session, the Speaker stated that the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, the Prime Minister-designate appointed by the House of Representatives, and the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation had apologized for their absence and requested a postponement until the next session.
The House of Representatives had summoned the Governor of the Central Bank, his deputy, members of the bank's board of directors, the Prime Minister-designate appointed by the House, and the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation.
