Libya and Saudi Arabia discuss strengthening bilateral relations and agree to coordinate positions in international forums.

Jeddah, January 11, 2025 (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, met with the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister, Waleed Al-Khuraiji, on Sunday to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 22nd Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The meeting addressed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, most notably developments in the Federal Republic of Somalia and the latest developments in Yemen and the Gaza Strip, with an emphasis on continued coordination and consultation in regional and international forums.
