Tripoli, January 11, 2026 (LANA) – A meeting held today, Sunday, at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli focused on improving the performance of the health sector. The meeting was attended by the Acting Minister of Health, Mohamed Al-Ghouj, and representatives from Allianz Care, a German company specializing in developing medical services.

Also present were Mustafa Al-Manea, Head of the Executive Team for Presidential Initiatives and Strategic Projects, and Adel Dhuhair, Director of the Inspection and Follow-up Department at the Prime Minister's Office.

During the meeting, steps were identified to develop the management of medical services. These steps included improving operational mechanisms, establishing performance indicators, and monitoring the progress of health programs according to specific timelines to ensure prompt implementation.

The plan also included enhancing the utilization of international expertise and specialized consulting firms in planning, development, and operation, as well as regularly monitoring all strategic initiatives and projects in the health sector to ensure adherence to the targeted outcomes.

The attendees emphasized the necessity of commitment to improving infrastructure and medical services, and achieving tangible improvements in the quality of medical care for citizens, within a clearly defined plan to enhance the efficiency of the health sector.
