Tripoli, January 7, 2026 (LANA) – The handover ceremony for the chairmanship of the Libyan Telecommunications Holding Company took place in Tripoli on Tuesday, between the outgoing chairman, Dr. Yousef Abu Zwaida, and the incoming chairman, Eng. Ali Bin Gharbia, in accordance with established legal and regulatory procedures.

The Libyan Telecommunications Holding Company explained on its official Facebook page that this ceremony is part of organizing administrative work and ensuring a smooth transfer of responsibilities, thus maintaining the stability of institutional performance.

The company added that the handover ceremony is part of consolidating the principle of institutional continuity and emphasizing the commitment to continuing work and integrating efforts to achieve the company's objectives and support the development of the telecommunications sector, in a way that meets the requirements of the current phase and serves the public interest.
