Tripoli, 5 January 2026 (Lana)—The GNU Minister of Interior deported a group of illegal Nigerian migrants via Mitiga International Airport.

This procedure came as part of the national program by the ministry to deport undocumented migrants to their countries.

The Ministry confirmed the continuation of deportation operations within a comprehensive plan aimed at addressing the issue of illegal migration and reducing the flow of migrants through Libyan territory to contribute to preserving security and stability in the country.
