The head of the oil corporation praised the efforts of the workers, which achieved an average production of 1.375 million barrels of oil per day and 2.5 billion cubic feet of gas per day.

Tripoli, January 2, 2026 (LANA) – The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Suleiman, affirmed the Corporation's commitment to neutrality, professionalism, and transparency. He commended the efforts of the employees, which have achieved an average daily production of 1.375 million barrels of oil and 2.5 billion cubic feet of gas. He also emphasized the priority of employee safety and asset protection, as well as the completion of measurement systems to enhance governance and operational accuracy.

This came during the opening of the general assembly meetings of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company, Al-Jawf Oil Company, and the National Construction Company, in the presence of the NOC Board of Directors, management committees, general managers, department heads, and a number of specialists.

The meetings discussed the companies' plans for 2026 and their achievements in 2025. The Arabian Gulf Oil Company's average production reached 286,000 barrels per day, peaking at 305,000 barrels per day, in addition to an average gas production of 88 million cubic feet per day. The drilling of three wells contributed to an additional 17 million barrels of oil and 24 billion cubic feet of gas. The Sarir-Tobruk pipeline project exceeded 90% completion, and the associated gas utilization project in the Messla and Sarir fields reached 97%. The Tobruk refinery processed 622,000 barrels, achieving 130% of its target.

The National Construction Company commenced work on replacing 100 kilometers of the 34-inch diameter shipping pipeline (Sarir-Tobruk), which is expected to be completed next June. Meanwhile, Al-Jawf Company fulfilled its contractual obligations to its clients in the sector.
