Tripoli, January 2, 2026 (LANA) – Libya Telecom and Technology Company announced that its systems and network have been subjected to distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks since last Tuesday, confirming that these attacks are still ongoing.
The company reassured all its subscribers and service users that the emergency protocol dedicated to such attacks was activated immediately upon detection, containing the majority of the impact and ensuring the continuity of essential services.
The company explained that the emergency plan remains in effect around the clock to monitor network traffic and address any new attempts, in order to maintain the stability, quality, and security of the services provided.
