Tripoli, December 30, 2025 (LANA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity announced that the United Kingdom has agreed to provide technical and legal cooperation to both the Libyan and Turkish sides to analyze the contents of the black box from the aircraft carrying the Libyan Army Chief of Staff delegation. The aim is to announce the results as soon as possible, in order to determine the causes of this tragic accident and uncover its circumstances with complete transparency and professionalism.

In a statement issued today, Tuesday, the Ministry indicated that, in the same context, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, who is responsible for following up on the case. Both sides emphasized the importance of close and continuous monitoring of this matter until the investigations are completed and the results are announced clearly and transparently.
