Benghazi, December 29, 2025 (LANA) – The House of Representatives, during its official session held today, Monday, voted to approve filling the vacant seats on the High National Elections Commission, after discussing the items on the session's agenda.

The official spokesperson for the House of Representatives, Abdullah Blihaq, stated that it was decided during the session to refer the High National Elections Commission's budget to the House's Planning, Finance, and General Budget Committee for its opinion, with the budget to be presented to the House of Representatives during its session tomorrow, Tuesday. The House also approved a draft law to increase the salaries of members of the armed forces.

The spokesperson explained that the session was adjourned and will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, to complete the discussion of the remaining items on the agenda.
